This little book shelf has been handmade with love, from assembly to painting to wrapping each little wooden ‘book’ with a tiny book classic book cover.
On the shelves you will find nine classic books:
Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, The Secret Garden, Pride & Prejudice, Far From The Madding Crowd, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and Black Beauty.
The book case itself cut from 3mm basswood and painted a lovely soft green… I have added a sweet little wooden quote and a tiny dried leaf ‘garland.’ The books are also made of wood (they are not real books) and measure 3 x 2.5cm. The finished book shelves measure approx 17.5cm
You can choose whether or not you would like your tiny books pre-glued in position or left loose. I preferred mine glued in but there again I have a very curious cat. If you opt for loose you could of course use blue tack or glue dots and arrange them however you wish. II am so excited to begin this journey in making miniatures! I sincerely hope that you love them and that you will enjoy displaying them on a shelf somewhere in your home. I’ve loved all things miniature since I was a little girl, I think there is so much magic in tiny worlds…
