Racey Helps. 1913-71. A Somerset-born antiquarian book-dealer. A course at the West of England College of Art set him on a career as an author and illustrator of children's books and his charming artwork featuring an array of anthropomorphic woodland animals was widely reproduced as postcards and greeting cards.
